Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React, Node.js, and cloud services
- Participate in Agile development cycles including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Write clean, documented code following industry best practices and security standards
- Debug and optimize existing software components to improve performance
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive front-end solutions
- Contribute to API development and integration with third-party services
- Present project progress and technical solutions during team reviews
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks (React preferred)
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and database fundamentals
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative development tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work 20-25 hours/week during summer months (May-August)
- Must have authorization to work in the United States
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic coding projects (GitHub link required)
