Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications using modern languages and frameworks.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and code quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and QA engineers.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing codebases to improve system stability and performance.
- Document technical specifications and create technical documentation for new features.
- Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to stay aligned with project goals.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#.
- Basic understanding of web development concepts including HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub) is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Flexibility to work part-time (20-30 hours per week) with the ability to commit for at least one semester (Summer/Fall).
