Apex Digital Systems is looking for ambitious and talented individuals to join our engineering team as Interns in Long Beach, CA. Role Overview:
As an Intern, you will work alongside senior developers to design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions. We prioritize mentorship, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world challenges while learning industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and debugging applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure code quality and architectural integrity.
- Conduct research and analysis to propose technical solutions for business requirements.
- Document technical specifications and user stories for internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and improve the performance of existing software products.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript).
- Basic knowledge of web development frameworks (React, Angular, or Node.js) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability to start between Summer or Fall 2024.
