Responsibilities
- Develop and test software components using Java, Python, and cloud-native technologies
- Contribute to open-source projects under mentorship from senior engineers
- Collaborate in agile teams using Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipelines
- Participate in code reviews and technical documentation
- Present project outcomes to cross-functional teams
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies for potential implementation
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with at least one programming language (Java, Python, or C++)
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools
- Basic understanding of web technologies (REST APIs, HTML/CSS)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Available to work 20-30 hours/week during summer/fall semester
