We are seeking a driven Software Engineering Intern to join our premier tech team in San Jose. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python or Java.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing systems to optimize performance and user experience.
- Contribute to technical documentation and system architecture planning.
- Research emerging technologies and tools to improve our development workflows.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with a graduation date of 2025 or later.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, C++).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent academic standing.
- Eager to learn, adaptable, and a proactive team player.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications according to specifications.
- Assist in the implementation of new product features and bug fixes.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Communicate technical progress and blockers to the team effectively.
- Support the QA team in identifying and resolving software defects.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a full-time degree program with a minimum of 12 units.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Understanding of web development frameworks (React, Angular, or Node.js) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to commit to a 20-25 hour work schedule during the semester.
