Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings to ensure project milestones are met.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing codebases under the guidance of senior developers.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and quality assurance engineers.
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, React, or Node.js is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
- Availability to work 20-40 hours per week during the Summer/Fall semester.
