Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy microservices using Go/Python on AWS/GCP infrastructure
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerize applications with Docker/Kubernetes
- Contribute to open-source projects and technical documentation
- Collaborate with product teams to translate requirements into technical specs
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Participate in sprint planning and daily standups
- Present project outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders
- Research and prototype emerging technologies (e.g., serverless, GraphQL)
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, or JavaScript)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) or container technologies
- Experience with Git, Linux, and RESTful APIs
- Strong problem-solving skills and data structures knowledge
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic coding projects
- Available for 3-6 months between June-December 2023
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
