Responsibilities
- Development Support: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript under the guidance of senior developers.
- Testing & QA: Assist in unit testing and debugging applications to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation, API specs, and user manuals.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified during the testing phase.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to team leads.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Academic Standing: Must be eligible to receive college credit for this internship.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Programming: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java, C++, Python).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Availability: Must be able to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week for the duration of the semester.
