Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Java/Spring Boot in AWS cloud environment
- Participate in daily agile stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Write unit/integration tests with JUnit and Mockito frameworks
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements using Jenkins and Docker
- Debug and optimize API performance with PostgreSQL databases
- Collaborate with UX team on responsive frontend implementations
- Document technical specifications and deployment procedures
- Present project progress to stakeholders during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming concepts
- Familiarity with RESTful API development and JSON/XML
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data structures/algorithms
- Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative workflows
- Available for 40-hour/week commitment starting June-August
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic coding projects
