Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement RESTful APIs
- Write clean, testable code following industry best practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Debug and optimize application performance using modern debugging tools
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing sessions
- Build responsive UI components with Material-UI or similar frameworks
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with React or Vue.js
- Familiarity with Node.js, Express.js, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
- Understanding of Git workflows and version control principles
- Strong problem-solving skills with algorithmic thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Available for 20-40 hours/week during Summer/Fall 2023 semester
- Portfolio showcasing personal or academic projects (GitHub preferred)
