We're seeking passionate Software Engineering Interns to build cutting-edge solutions while working alongside industry mentors in our state-of-the-art Portland, Ohio facility. This 12-week program offers real-world project experience, flexible summer/fall start dates, and a collaborative startup environment.
As an intern, you'll contribute to our AI-powered analytics platform while receiving hands-on training in cloud technologies and agile methodologies. Our interns leave with production-level code in their portfolios and industry connections that launch careers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test RESTful APIs using Python and Node.js
- Implement responsive frontend components with React and TypeScript
- Optimize database queries and data processing pipelines
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Document code and create technical specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/JavaScript)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Basic understanding of web development fundamentals
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Available for 20-40 hours/week during summer/fall term
