Role Overview
As a Software Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with our agile squads to design, implement, and test software solutions. We value creativity, curiosity, and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and debugging of software applications using modern frameworks (React, Node.js, Python).
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure code quality and best practices.
- Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry standards.
- Debug and resolve technical issues reported by users or QA teams.
- Contribute to the technical documentation and architecture of new features.
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration with product managers and designers.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies is a plus.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and available to work onsite in Nashville.
- Willingness to accept college credit for this position.
