Responsibilities
- Develop and test scalable software applications using Java, Python, and cloud technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Conduct code reviews and implement best practices for software development
- Debug and optimize existing code to improve system performance
- Document technical specifications and create comprehensive project documentation
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders and technical leadership
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development tools
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web development fundamentals
- Ability to solve complex problems and adapt to evolving project requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Available for 20-40 hours/week during summer or fall term
