Responsibilities
- Develop and test microservices using Java/Spring Boot in AWS cloud environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews
- Optimize database queries and implement caching strategies for performance improvement
- Create technical documentation and contribute to our open-source initiatives
- Debug and resolve production issues using monitoring tools like Datadog
- Present project deliverables to stakeholders and receive feedback
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Java and/or Python with understanding of OOP principles
- Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with relational databases (SQL) and NoSQL systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Previous internship or academic project experience preferred
