Responsibilities
- Develop and test scalable software applications using Python, Java, and cloud technologies
- Collaborate in agile teams to design, implement, and deploy microservices
- Optimize database performance through SQL queries and indexing strategies
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, and Docker
- Participate in code reviews and documentation best practices
- Present project outcomes to technical stakeholders
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/JavaScript)
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and agile methodologies
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and database fundamentals
- Problem-solving skills with algorithmic thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
- Available for 40 hours/week during summer/fall term
- Authorized to work in the United States
