As an intern, you won't just be fetching coffee; you'll be contributing to real projects that impact millions of users. Located in the vibrant Inner Harbor of Baltimore, we offer a collaborative environment that bridges the gap between academic theory and professional application.
What You'll Do:
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software code.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Debug applications and optimize performance for scalability.
- Document technical processes and contribute to technical wikis.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, code, and test software components.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in modern languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues and implementing bug fixes.
- Learn and apply best practices for version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Engage in research and proof-of-concept development for new technologies.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript preferred).
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, REST APIs) is a plus.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
