Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of high-quality software solutions.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Debugging: Identify and resolve software bugs and technical issues reported by QA and users.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and design specifications.
- Cloud Integration: Assist in deploying applications to cloud environments (AWS/Azure) and monitoring performance.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and propose innovative technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, or C++ preferred).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude toward learning new technologies.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time during the summer or fall internship semester.
