What You Will Do
- Develop & Test: Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and web platforms.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Debugging: Troubleshoot and resolve bugs to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation and user guides for new features.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers and Designers.
Who You Are
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++) and version control systems (Git).
- Academic: Strong academic record with a focus on core computer science principles.
- Problem Solver: Demonstrated ability to break down complex problems into manageable steps.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Debug existing codebases and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Research new technologies and tools to improve development processes.
- Document technical requirements and system architecture.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, or Java is highly preferred.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2024.
