Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy scalable microservices using Python, Java, and AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate testing procedures
- Contribute to open-source projects under senior engineer guidance
- Optimize database performance with SQL and NoSQL solutions
- Participate in code reviews and architectural planning sessions
- Create technical documentation and API specifications
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) or containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
- Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative workflows
- Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
- Availability for 20-40 hours/week during Summer/Fall term
