Responsibilities
- Code Development: Assist senior engineers in designing, developing, and testing high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve software defects and bugs to ensure seamless application performance.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise, and technical documentation for code changes and APIs to facilitate team collaboration.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and agile planning sessions to align with project goals.
- Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions to the team.
- Testing: Conduct unit testing and integration testing to verify the functionality and reliability of software modules.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of programming concepts (Python, Java, or JavaScript preferred).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and develop logical, effective solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 12 weeks during the Summer or Fall semester.
- Tools: Familiarity with Git, version control systems, and IDEs (e.g., VS Code, IntelliJ) is a plus.
