Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Node.js and Python
- Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party cloud services
- Write unit tests and optimize code performance
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning
- Contribute to open-source initiatives aligned with Oakland's tech community
- Document technical specifications and deployment procedures
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree
- Proficiency in JavaScript/Python and Git
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Available for 20+ hours/week during Summer/Fall
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic projects
