Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Assist in designing, coding, and testing software components under the guidance of senior developers.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code; participate in code reviews to ensure best practices.
- Debugging: Identify, analyze, and resolve software defects and bugs within existing applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, design, and QA) to define features and improve user experience.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation for new features and updates.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#) and familiarity with web development concepts.
- Academic Performance: A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work 20-30 hours per week, including some flexibility for late afternoon meetings.
