Responsibilities
- Collaborative Development: Assist the engineering team in designing, coding, and testing software components under the guidance of senior developers.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Problem Solving: Debug and troubleshoot existing codebases to improve system performance and stability.
- Agile Participation: Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation, API specs, and user manuals to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
- Research: Stay updated on emerging technologies and tools to propose innovative solutions to technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#. Basic understanding of web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus.
- Tools: Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic knowledge of database concepts (SQL).
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Passion: A genuine interest in learning new technologies and a drive to excel in a fast-paced environment.
- Location: Must be able to work from our El Paso office or remotely from California.
