Responsibilities
- Develop & Test: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, JavaScript, and React under the guidance of senior developers.
- Agile Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure code quality and project alignment.
- Problem Solving: Assist in debugging complex issues, optimizing application performance, and troubleshooting production incidents.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation, API specs, and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve existing systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and React. Familiarity with SQL databases and version control (Git).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Work Ethic: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time (20-30 hours/week) during Summer or Fall 2023.
