Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality software solutions using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features for our core products.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure code quality and alignment.
- Write clear, concise documentation for code and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs to ensure a seamless user experience across all platforms.
- Assist in the deployment of applications to production environments and monitor system performance.
- Engage in learning sessions and mentorship opportunities provided by senior engineering staff.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) and back-end technologies (Node.js, SQL).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for clean code.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be available to work 20-30 hours per week during the summer and fall terms.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and version control systems (Git).
