Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with senior developers and product managers to design, develop, and test software features.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Debugging: Participate in the troubleshooting and debugging of complex software issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API docs and architecture diagrams.
- Testing: Assist in the development of unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
- Meetings: Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review sessions to stay aligned with team goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with web development frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) or database systems (SQL, NoSQL) is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Able to commit to a full-time schedule for the Summer or Fall semester.
