Responsibilities
- Develop and test security protocols using Python and Java
- Analyze vulnerability reports and implement patch solutions
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipeline security
- Participate in threat modeling exercises for new applications
- Document security procedures and create technical guides
- Present findings to senior engineers during weekly reviews
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or Cybersecurity degree
- Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
- Familiarity with network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and database security principles
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Available for 3-6 months starting June 2023
- US citizenship or valid work authorization required
