Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices using Python and AWS
- Write unit tests and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with UX team on responsive web interfaces
- Debug and optimize existing codebase
- Participate in daily agile stand-ups and sprint planning
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints
- Present project progress to engineering leadership
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Computer Science or related degree
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work 20-30 hours/week during academic terms
- Available for in-office work in Houston
- Portfolio demonstrating personal or academic projects
