Responsibilities
- Design & Develop: Collaborate with the engineering team to design, implement, and maintain high-quality software applications.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Debug & Test: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects; participate in the testing and QA process.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and system architecture diagrams.
- Code Reviews: Review the code of peers to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to project goals.
- Agile Participation: actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++).
- Web Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
- Databases: Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Tools: Experience with version control systems (Git) and modern development tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
- Schedule: Available to work full-time during the Summer or Fall 2024 semester.
