This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in our downtown Richmond office. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate academic calendars and provide relocation assistance for non-local candidates.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React, Node.js, and Python
- Participate in agile sprints, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Write unit tests and perform code reviews to ensure quality standards
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive interfaces
- Debug and optimize applications for performance and security
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge base
- Present project outcomes to stakeholders during final demo day
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and at least one backend technology
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with algorithmic thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Available for 20+ hours/week during summer/fall term
