Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy microservices using AWS Lambda and Docker
- Write unit tests and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions
- Collaborate on REST API development with Python/Node.js
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning ceremonies
- Optimize database queries in PostgreSQL/MongoDB environments
- Contribute to open-source projects via our GitHub organization
- Present technical findings to senior engineers and product teams
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ months experience with Python or JavaScript
- Familiarity with Git version control and Agile methodologies
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through coding challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Available for 20-40 hours/week through Fall 2024
