Responsibilities
- Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and features under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Documentation: Write clear and concise technical documentation, including API documentation and code comments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers.
- Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
- Innovation: Contribute ideas to improve existing processes and explore new technologies.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the Summer or Fall semester.
