Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers to design and implement scalable software solutions.
- Develop: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for web applications and backend systems using modern languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
- Debug: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and bugs to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Test: Participate in the software development lifecycle, including unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
- Document: Maintain clear documentation for code, APIs, and technical processes to support team knowledge sharing.
- Learn: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, actively participating in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript) and familiarity with version control (Git).
- GPA: Strong academic record with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective, logical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Schedule: Availability to work 20-40 hours per week during the Summer and/or Fall semester.
