Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test new software features and applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews.
- Debug and resolve technical issues in existing codebases and contribute to technical documentation.
- Assist in the integration of APIs and third-party services into our platform.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of software in production environments.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Available to work part-time (20-30 hours per week) for Summer or Fall 2024.
- Passion for clean code and best practices in software development.
