Nodal Systems is seeking a motivated Software Engineering Intern to join our growing team in Albuquerque, NM. Responsibilities
- Code Development: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and JavaScript under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to align with the engineering team.
- Testing & Debugging: Assist in writing unit tests and identifying and fixing bugs in existing software modules.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation and API documentation to ensure project knowledge is shared across the team.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies relevant to our projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or C++ is required. Familiarity with Git and version control is preferred.
- Academic Performance: A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 is preferred.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
