Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Assist in the design, development, and testing of high-quality software applications using modern languages and frameworks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define feature requirements and user stories.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve software defects to ensure optimal system performance and stability.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to internal wikis and knowledge bases.
- Innovation: Participate in code reviews and brainstorming sessions to propose improvements and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (Java, Python, C++, or C#).
- Web Skills: Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) is a significant plus.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues with a logical and methodical approach.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a 12-week summer internship or a fall semester start date.
