Responsibilities
- Development & Implementation: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code under the guidance of senior developers to implement new features and improve existing systems.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and sprint planning meetings to ensure project alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Debugging & Testing: Identify and resolve software defects through rigorous testing and debugging, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, API references, and user guides to facilitate team communication.
- Research: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to propose innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
- Support: Assist in the troubleshooting and maintenance of production applications to ensure minimal downtime for end-users.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript) and experience with web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js).
- Database Knowledge: Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and development tools (IDEs like IntelliJ or VS Code).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the Summer/Fall term.
