Responsibilities
- Develop and test software applications using Java, Python, and modern frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement feature enhancements
- Debug and optimize code for performance and security
- Document technical specifications and maintain version control with Git
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Contribute to code reviews and mentorship initiatives
- Build scalable solutions using cloud technologies (AWS/Azure)
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or C++)
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
- Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and REST APIs
- Problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Available for 20+ hours/week through Fall 2023
- Previous internship experience preferred but not required
