Responsibilities
- Design & Development: Collaborate with the engineering team to design, develop, and test scalable web applications and APIs.
- Code Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- Debugging: Troubleshoot and fix bugs in existing codebases using modern debugging tools and methodologies.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise, and technical documentation for code and features.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Testing: Assist in writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Web Technologies: Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) or back-end technologies (Node.js, Django) is a plus.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Able to commit to a 12-24 week internship schedule starting Summer or Fall 2023.
