Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of high-quality software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Engineering) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in modern programming languages (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and wiki updates.
- Debug and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks in existing systems.
- Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to track project progress.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies and propose improvements to current workflows.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience with at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript).
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) and RESTful APIs is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for learning new technologies.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team setting.
- Currently residing in the Kansas City, MO area or willing to relocate.
