Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Code: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for web and mobile applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate in Agile: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to ensure project milestones are met.
- Debug & Troubleshoot: Identify and fix bugs in existing codebases and assist in the optimization of application performance.
- Database Management: Assist in the design and management of databases, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Technical Research: Stay updated with the latest technologies and tools, providing insights on potential improvements to the tech stack.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript is required. Experience with HTML, CSS, and SQL is a plus.
- Tools: Basic understanding of Git, RESTful APIs, and version control systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to start immediately (Summer/Fall) and commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week).
- Location: Must be based in Tucson, AZ, or willing to commute to our office.
