Responsibilities
- Development Support: Assist senior developers in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Testing & QA: Participate in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging processes to ensure software reliability and performance.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and system architecture diagrams.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, and Marketing) to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Code Reviews: Review code from peers and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to propose improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. Must be able to provide proof of enrollment and obtain college credit.
- Technical Skills: Strong foundation in computer science principles. Familiarity with at least one object-oriented programming language (Python, Java, C++, or C#).
- Web Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues and think critically to solve complex problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Availability: Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 hours per week during the semester.
