Responsibilities
- Code Development: Assist senior developers in designing, coding, and testing software solutions under supervision.
- Debugging & Maintenance: Participate in identifying and resolving software bugs and performing routine code maintenance.
- Documentation: Write clear, concise technical documentation and contribute to project wikis.
- Collaboration: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews within an Agile development environment.
- Research: Stay updated on industry trends and assist in researching new technologies or methodologies.
- Support: Provide technical support for internal tools and applications as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Academic Status: Must be able to verify enrollment and the ability to earn college credit for this internship.
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and IDEs (e.g., VS Code, IntelliJ).
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to work a minimum of 12 weeks during the summer or fall semester.
