Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications using modern frameworks.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and wikis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical problems.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing codebases to improve system performance and reliability.
- Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and security standards.
- Attend daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to track progress and deliverables.
- Learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies as they are introduced.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be available to work full-time (35-40 hours) during the summer months.
