Responsibilities
- Development & Coding: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python, Java, or JavaScript under the guidance of senior developers.
- Debugging & Testing: Identify, isolate, and fix bugs in existing codebases. Write unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
- API Integration: Collaborate with the backend team to integrate third-party APIs and services into our main platform.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation for all developed features and processes.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and code reviews to ensure project milestones are met.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to engineering challenges.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Academic Status: Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and eligible to receive college credit for this internship.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript) and familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge Base: Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be based in or willing to commute to Los Angeles, CA.
