Location: Miami, FL (On-site or Hybrid)
Start Date: May/June 2024 (Summer) or August/September 2024 (Fall)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers: Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and architecture discussions to ensure code quality.
- Develop High-Quality Code: Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code for web and mobile applications using modern technologies.
- Debug & Optimize: Identify performance bottlenecks and implement efficient solutions to enhance user experience and system stability.
- Contribute to Product Roadmap: Brainstorm creative features and help translate technical requirements into business value.
- Learn from the Best: Engage in regular technical workshops, code labs, and 1-on-1 mentorship sessions with industry leaders.
- Unit Testing: Write and maintain unit tests to ensure robustness of the codebase.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, C++).
- Academic Record: A strong academic background with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and development environments (VS Code, IntelliJ).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Availability: Ability to commit to 20-30 hours per week during the semester.
