Responsibilities
- Development: Collaborate with senior developers to design, code, and test software applications and features.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Testing & Debugging: Assist in unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting bugs to ensure product stability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specs and user manuals.
- Collaboration: Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review meetings within an Agile/Scrum framework.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and tools relevant to our tech stack.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Programming: Familiarity with at least one major language (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Schedule: Must be available to work 20-30 hours per week during the Summer and Fall semesters.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git) and development environments.
