Responsibilities
- Code Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, Java, or JavaScript under the guidance of senior developers.
- System Testing: Participate in the testing process, including unit testing and debugging, to ensure software reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and contribute to the team's knowledge base.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers and designers to define and implement features.
- Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to propose innovative solutions.
- Meeting Attendance: Attend daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews to contribute to team progress.
Qualifications
- Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Programming Skills: Solid foundation in at least one programming language (Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript) and data structures.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and basic understanding of databases (SQL).
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues creatively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Availability: Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2024 and commit to a full-time internship duration.
