As an intern, you will work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining hands-on experience in modern development methodologies while enjoying the vibrant culture of Orlando.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications and websites.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot complex technical issues and optimize performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using industry-standard languages.
- Participate in agile development ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies to propose innovative solutions for client projects.
- Support database management and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Document technical requirements and user stories for internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
- Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
- Experience with SQL and database management systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Must be available to start in Summer or Fall 2023.
