Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code under the guidance of senior software engineers.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review sessions within an agile development environment.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing code to identify and resolve software defects and performance issues.
- Contribute to technical documentation, including API documentation and design specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UX designers, to define feature requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to suggest improvements.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of at least one programming language and its associated frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, MongoDB) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and within a team setting.
